The Course
A 15+ hour intensive training course for the Life in the UK test
How does the course work?
Once the course is paid for, I will send you 6 emails, each with links to 1 day of the 6 day course - you can start watching the course straightaway.

I will post the course information pack to you, with the homework questions and my simplified version of the official handbook - I use first class post so you should receive this within one or two days.
​
Begin with Day 1 of the course and work your way through to Day 6!

At the end of each day of the course I let you know what the homework if for that day - please try and complete the homework; we then go through the answers first thing on the following day.

You'll have access to the 6 Day course for over 6 weeks, which is plenty of time, but I always advise students to try to watch the course over a shorter time if they can - if you spread it out over too long a time, by the end you may forget what you learnt at the beginning.

Book yourself a test date! I always advise students to book themselves a test for a date shortly after they plan to finish watching the course. Having a test booked, also helps motivate you to keep working and learning.

Understanding: I take you through the official handbook, simplifying and explaining the information - you don't need to buy the book, I send you my simplified version of the handbook

Practise: at the end of each section of the book we practise lots of questions together on the information we've just learnt
​
Key information: as we go through the book I highlight what you might be asked on a particular piece of information
​
Key dates: as we go through the book I make sure you learn the important dates to learn for the test
​

On the Course

I talk you through the official handbook (it's what the questions in the test are based on!) and I simplify and explain the information.

We practice HUNDREDS of questions together - as we go through the book, we stop at the end of each section and practice questions on what we have just learnt.

As you watch the course you'll see lots of pictures, words and questions to help you understand and remember what you are learning.

I make it INTERESTING! Students often worry about the history chapter - but on my course many students tell me they have found the history enjoyable and interesting.

You will learn the important DATES - many students worry about learning dates from the book, in fact, there are not many dates you need to learn, and I make sure you learn the important ones.

You will be very well prepared - by the end of the course you will be well prepared and ready to take the test. I advise students to book the test for a date shortly after the course finishes, don't wait and forget what you've learnt!
