Answering questions in the Life in the UK test - what should you do if you're not sure of the answer?

Updated: Jan 3, 2024

In the test you have the option to ‘flag up’ a question – so if you’re not sure of an answer, click to flag it up and move on to the next one.

Once you get to the end of the test go back and try to answer the questions you’ve flagged up - if you have one, two or even six questions flagged up, not a problem – remember, you can get six questions wrong and still pass.

Most of the students on my course can answer all 24 of the 24 questions in the test – so even if there are one or two they’re not sure of – they still pass!
