How soon can I rebook the Life in the UK test?

Updated: Apr 10, 2024

If you take my course then you shouldn't need to rebook the Life in the UK test, you'll pass first time! But if something goes wrong, and this can happen if for example you take the wrong ID to the test centre and are unable to take the test, as has happened to a couple of my students, then you'll need to rebook.

On the government website it tells you that you must wait 7 days before rebooking the test – but as my student who needed to rebook discovered, this is not the case; the 7 days mentioned on the website is ‘advisory’, this was confirmed by staff at the Life in the UK test helpline, you can book the test again for as soon as there is a slot available.
